Things are a little tight in our household at the moment. I’ve been saving on money by making as many things that we need as possible and recycling things to make new things. I’ve been really into decorating the house but due to a couple of things out of our control our budget is stretched for food. As a result I’m becoming quite crafty.

I’ve become quite clever with our food too. At the moment we’re spending max $50 on food per week.  My health has been failing a little bit too which doesn’t help much. Things are looking a bit glum right now.

I have a huge list of things to do. It’s litterally 7 or 8 pages, that said it’s in a tiny notebook so it’s not reaaaaally that much. To begin with I’m trying to think of something to do with my Design Syndrome website. I’m writing articles, I’ve just finished the coloured first page of The Salem Academy sequentials. It’s going really well thanks for asking

My RedBubble site is going well and I’m trying to update things regularly. Frills is so close to being done thank god. At least once that’s posted I won’t need to look at it for a month or so. Basically what I’m saying is that holy bajeebus am I busy.

Maybe I should write my list up here and show you what I’ve done so far! Oh and look out for the site I’m making for James’ graphic design, it’s freaking awesome! If you’re looking for a freelancer then drop me a line and I’ll get him on it. He really is just awesome.

Hello again my fine feathered friends. I’ve got a bit of a headache can you tell? Symptoms BAM. Anyway I’m back with the internet so everyone can rejoice.

Oh and I’ve written a short comic which I’m sure everyone is just dying to read. I’ll upload it to my comicspace later and post a link for you all. It’s about a little robot. Frills update- I’ve taken a break for around a week because I needed to just relax for a bit and I’ve got a lot of doctors things to do. None the less I’m hoping to have that frilly envelope out by Friday. The Salem Academy is progressing nicely and I’m just waiting for part of the first script and I’ll be able to give you guys a taste of the sequentials.

As for the title I did actually see Ironman last week, it was pretty awesome. I’ll do up a review soon. I should also get around to doing a review for Ranma 1/2 and that Gambit comic I read the other day. Oh well my headache isn’t going away so maybe I’ll just have a lay down.

As the title would suggest, I’m back! I went to hospital last week and the tests should get back sometime… soon? I’ve been super tired lately though which has been a pain as I’m still working hard on Frills and also Salem Academy and everything else on my plate.

I’m getting pretty good with a tablet as you can see in the art above, still have a whole lot to learn but I’m getting there and that’s what’s important.

Want to know something cool? I’ll be away from Friday to probably the Saturday the week after! A break from the internet! Well not a work break but an internet break at least. Hurrah!

Night!

Hey guess what? I got a graphics tablet! This is the first picture I drew on it! Cute much? I’m having so much freaking fun experimenting with colouring and things like that, Photoshop is actually fun now… Poor James has a degree in graphic design and has to put up with me asking him all sorts of stupid questions though… but who cares? I have a WACOM!

It’s been a very busy week. Turns out I have a cyst on my head too, go me! I’ll be going into hospital for an Endoscopy tomorrow which basically involves them shoving a tube down my throat which is pretty scary but hopefully will actually get me some answers. Wish me luck bitches!

Lastly because I feel like practicing with the tablet etc I am offering to make free graphics at the moment, I’m interested in in banners and avatars only though, just comment and we’ll work it out!

So the 2 week health kick continues. James and I are eating pretty much only healthy foods which is yummy but I miss my burgers I’m sort of liking the gym though, we’ve gone twice now. The first time they assigned  us a personal trainer and kept trying to pressure us into a membership, which I would never take out in a million years ESPECIALLY with Fitness First but they wouldn’t leave us alone! We stayed for a bout an hour but the guy pushed James waaaay too far on the rowing machine and we had to leave. We went again today and spent an hour and a half on the treadmill watching tv. I walked 3.5kms and had a little trouble getting off at the end.

In other news we beat God of War 1 and I’m pretty glad we’re done, it wasn’t as good as 2 but still awesome none the less.

My collaboration comic is coming along nicely and I should be able to show you some character pre-lims soon. Frills is also going well but the tedious paper work is starting to get me down!

I’ve been feeling pretty tired lately but still ok. I’m still boycotting the tests and doctors but I’m going to see Leslie on Wednesday about the bump on my head. Maybe that’s why I have had so many headaches lately!

Night kids

I’m working on getting some tshirt designs up and ready for sale at the moment. I’m still selling ACEO’s through ebay but it’s not really paying the bills. This week has been good so far, I’ve been sleeping quite a bit so I’m not as sick and I’ve found the best drink ever to make me sleep better… it’s called HORLIKS… AHAHAHAHAHAHA! No seriously it is, it’s malted milk and very yummy and relaxing.

I really should be getting to bed to do some more drawing soon, I’ve got a stack of comic work that’s calling me and I really want to get Frills sent off soon but the internet is just too full of fun things like Deviant Art and Poupee Girl.

It’s my birthday soon, the 28th of May and I’m trying to think of what I want. Maybe a new dress, brand is always good? Maybe a new DS game? Maybe some more Copics? Maybe something more useful for the house? Who knows. Maybe lots of dvds to watch! Or a super high paying full of awesome job that I can do from home.

Too much thinking, time to read old Gambit comics

James and I saw the best dixie land jazz band on Wednesday night when his parents took us out for dinner. They’re called the Chicago 5 and they are so funny! I’m beyond typing tonight so I’m just going to go work on the Frills submission. Night all!
